Can you use airpods on a secondary device?

I use AirPods Pro on all of my personal devices but how can I can use them on my work MacBook?

I can’t use my personal Apple ID as the main account on my work MacBook so is there a workaround?

Pair it to the MacBook

As SheldonKK said, just them. Your AppleID isn't needed and is irrelevant to using AirPods.

chabig is correct. I paired my APP with Apple hardware when I was not logged into my Apple ID.

I have also paired my APP with non-Apple hardware like Windows PCs. My guess is if I made the effort, I could probably get them to pair with a Raspberry Pi 4. But I have zero interest in such exercises.
