Hey, just wondering if it's safe to mix and match the magesafe plugs for these MacBooks.

I just got an "Ultimate" 11" MacBook Air to complement my MacBook Pro so I can take it to work far more easily, but I want to keep my MacBook Air's plug at work. Is it ok to use my MacBook Pro 15" magsafe plug with my MacBook Air?

Why or why not?

Thanks :D

Entirely so.

The MacBook Air should only take the power it needs. There is no danger of the adapter supplying too much power.

Thanks so much for the speedy response!!

I am in LOVE with my MacBook Air. Super crazy little speed demon (for many things anyway lol)

Anywho, thanks again :D

I've got two 60W adapters from my old 13" MacBook Pro and two 85W adapters from my 15" MacBook Pro; I've got the Air using the 60W ones so I can stash the 45W adapter it came with in my bag and use the others around the house. No issues at all using it.

Does anyone know if it works other way around? If I use MBA charger on MBP, does it work?

It would work, although if you were using your MacBook Pro while charging it with the MacBook Air charger, it may run out of battery.
