Hi, I've resisted using Face ID for some time (on my iPhone 12 Pro Max) but have been somewhat forced to recently due to another application removing any support for PIN use (specifically 1Password) making their app very clunky to use on iPhone without biometrics. Anyway, I had assumed you could still use PIN to unlock when Face ID is enabled - however it seems Face ID takes over the entire screen and there is no option to enter your passcode? I could not find any reference on Apple Support or via general Web Search to whether this is possible or not...

Can anyway help to definitively clarify either way, and if it is possible how do you do it? Many TIA.
