I have ATT Uverse for my tv, internet and phone and was wondering if there is anyway to watch whatever I can see on my tv on the iPad?

Thanks
Steve

Yes it is coming, this is the reason the current U-verse app has been neglected a bit.

Looking forward too it.

Cool!!!

I have ATT U-verse also. Soon you'll be able to. Patiently waiting for this update. Read here:

Great news!!!

We just got the fiber optic attuverse HDTV & 18MB Internet and love it man this is great news :D My wife loves the current app she manages all her shows on the go.

I also love the free AT&T wifi hotspots saves my iPhone mywi battery for those rare occasions I don't have a wifi link. Now I will be using that play feature on my iPad for sure!

Happy U-Verse customer here as well, looking forward to this!

They just upped my home speeds to 24 down, 3 up.
I know that is not spectacular to you city dwellers, but I'm in the 'burbs.

Huh?! 24mbps download and 3mbps upload IS spectacular! I'm in San Diego and get about 16mbps and 1.45mbps which is as fast as ATT offers here.

I live about 20 miles outside of Dallas and we never expected to get AT&T Fiber Optic so we are very lucky to get 18mb data line. Verizon FIOS said they wouldn't be coming to our area so when AT&T started digging lines out here our podunk cable company started offering specials to bad for the cable company.

I ran speakeasy speedtest and we actually get 21-23mb most of the time so we are very happy:D

If they end up charging a monthly fee for it then the best way to do this would be to get a Slingbox and then you can watch whatever is on your home tv from anywhere in the world (including what you have recorded on the dvr). The Slingbox app (costs $30) but is still sized to fit the iPhone and they haven't as of two weeks ago made it to fit the larger iPad screen. They told me they are working on that though.
