Just weighing up whether I move my primary macOS from Mojave to Catalina, with a thought (question) on whether it’s possible to use my User account - which is located on a separate Fusion drive to my boot drive - with both Mojave and Catalina. Once I start using my (Mojave) User with Catalina, can I go back and still use it with Mojave or will Catalina change things in my User account that will break it for Mojave?
I’m fairly certain I can start using Catalina as my primary production OS (loaded already on a separate SSD) and accept I will have to wave goodbye to 32-bit apps (but can find 64-bit updates or alternatives), but it would be cool to be able to switch back and forth if it was possible and didn’t compromise anything.
A Google search comes up fairly blank (one user was asking the same question with Lion and Sierra many years ago), and I can’t find an answer in the forums here.
