Canabalt update - help!

App store is saying there is an update for canabalt (1.2) I update and it does the full waiting, loading, installing thing but when I go into it it hasn't updated. Go back to AppStore it still shows as available update. Tried this about 10 times now and I am very confused as to what is wrong.

I was having this problem last night when trying to update on my iPod, but I just downloaded the update via iTunes on my computer and synced, all's fine now.

It's an App Store bug, it's been like it for around a month now.

They are showing updates available almost immediately after approval but it's taking around 3-12 hours for the binary to appear
