Are Canadians actually receiving pre-ordered iPhone 14 Pro Max handsets these days - 20th Sept 2022 today?

Speaking with Apple reps on the phone is pretty useless. All that I can learn is that manufacturing is proceeding and a lot of Pro Max back-orders occurred, so shipments are slow and trying to catch up.

Any other knowledge out there?

Peter

I pre-ordered my 14PM via TELUS and received it last Friday (launch day). My previous iPhone (12PM) was preordered directly from Apple and I also received it on launch day

What is your ETA delivery?

I was online here in BC right at 05:00 on the 9th and got through to the payment page when a few minutes delay by Apple's servers shifted me from Sept 16th delivery to Oct 11-18 - my page still has that week listed, I guess I'm waiting for the slow boat from China . . . just as long as PM handsets are coming out, I guess I will just wait.

Preordered with Apple at launch and it arrived early Monday morning.
So when you pre-ordered, you had no trouble getting an early date of delivery? I had seen Sept 16 - 18, then after the short glitch with their payment page, it went to 11-18 Oct, where it is still. I really think that as the telco retailers have units (the local Apple stores here in BC don't have any as far as I can make out) - Apple has really screwed a lot of pre-order folks . . . like me. The political issue is probably that as we are all individuals doing Apple pre-orders, Apple managers can screw us more easily than they can pull units back from the telcos and screw them, because they would sue. Not happy with Apple. Misjudging your inventory balance is one thing, but not making any useful effort to adjust after so that the faithful pre-order folks don't get buggered is a bad attitude. Comes with being a massive company, I guess. Bad bad taste, Mr Cook.
