Finally, iPod price drop in Canada! Best Buy is matching the price of their iPods to their US stores. http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/dept.asp?logon=&langid=EN&catid=21176. And Future Shop has the same price! http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/class.asp?logon=&langid=EN&catid=22793. Strangely, some iPods are still $5-20 more than the price on the US Apple online store, but oh well. $50 off the 16gb iPod Touch!! I was thinking about getting it on the Apple online store, but I guess I'll just get it at Future Shop or Best Buy now :D. I'm still hoping that Apple will drop the price so I can get a laser engraved iPod, but if not, I'm happy anyways.
Just a heads up to the Canadians who wanted to get iPods in the US, now you don't have to drive over the boarder to get cheaper iPods :D.
Sorry if I sound unreasonably happy, but I have just been waiting for a while for Apple to drop their price since Canadian dollar hit parity with the US dollar.

Lucky you, over here the 80GB Classic is equivalent to $326 (according to the Conversion Widget)...tax is included, but still!

Hopefully the stores keep it up and follow suit on iMacs, etc.

Sad thing is that through work I can get educational pricing from the Apple store, but right now those iPods are cheaper than the educational pricing.

You can get educational discount on iPods? I thought it was only on computers.

educational pricing for the iPod is no longer offered. I was told by an apple store employee while trying to get the edu discount that this discount was dropped because the prices of iPods in general have dropped. They are now 169 for a 4GB nano as opposed to the old nanos which were 229 for a 4GB
