I will be buying an iPhone from someone off of Craigslist tomorrow, He said in his Ad "This is not hacked but it does work without service because of a contract cancellation loophole I used. Will work with any AT&T SIM Card." Well, i do not have a contract with AT&T and do not have a AT&T sim card. But do have a t-mobile contract and a t-mobile sim card. Can i still unlock this iPhone like normal through ZiPhone by using the "Do it all" feature and then use it with t-mobile?
Thank You

Sounds like guy doesn't know what he is talking about. If it is locked and not hacked, when you put your sim card in the phone it will force you to activate it. He is probably selling it off for the 3g phone or didn't want the phone anymore. You should have no problem unlocking the phone unless it is broken or something like that.

Also, please use Pwnage if you have a Mac. Not sure about the windows version.

I have a PC with Windows Vista-is ZiPhone the best option to use to unlock it, and is it as easy as it says on the website-do you just plug in your iPhone and press the "Do it all" button, and thats it?

I think ZiPhone was great, but apparently Pwnage is the one to use now that it is out. Someone with a Windows PC will have to pipe in here. My suggestion, just go buy a Mac.

I have used both and no issues.

ok, i will get the iPhone tomorow and try to unlock it, i will write back with my results.-I don't think i will have any problems, but we'll see.
