I have had the 64 GB for about 2 weeks now and for me, it is perfect. I have Wi-Fi usually wherever I go and I just don't need 3G. I also think that the future will greatly increase Wi-Fi access, with new phones also having a MyFy capability.

That's great, but why the thread? I'm curious as to why everyone is starting threads for every little decision they make.

because the world revolves around each and every one of us, didn't you get the memo?

people feel the need to have other people validate their reasoning. this guy is upset or confused as to why he cancelled his order. He's hoping someone will tell him he did the right thing. Despite the fact he's saying he thinks it was the best choice.

Oh no! You've made a terrible mistake! Call Apple back and beg for forgiveness! Tell them it was a moment of temporary insanity! Repent!!!

;)

I'm not sure the need for the thread, but I will take this opportunity to say - buy what you want and that fits your needs, that's all that matters. In this case, it sounds like you've done that. Congrats.

Congratulations.

Why do you care why others start threads? This is an online forum and everyone has the right to post. However, YOU have the right to read it or not. I've never been a part of a forum as negative as a few of you are in this group. I'm sure the vast majority of the folks here are genuinely great people, but I'm amazed at how many rude and ignorant responses there are to peoples posts here. If you don't like the thread don't read it. If it's a waste of your time, don't comment.

There's an incredibly large amount of posting going on in this forum right now. The added crap like this thread just make it harder to keep up with some of the important stuff.

There are few important threads here but you can subscribe to ones you deem important. That's all I do. Sometimes it takes a little out of the box thinking to avoid minor inconveniences and nuances that you find from public forums.

I agree. I like to read it all. And I like this thread, for the record. I am thinking of trading up to the 3G after it's released here in Canada and its nice to read other users comments about their experiences so far with their Wifi.

A.

I got the wifi, but I think the 3G is great to have for people that want to use their iPad on the go. Having it doesn't hurt because there's no contract attached. I don't really plan on taking my iPad all over the place so the wifi was fine for me.

I'm sorry, but the last time I checked this was a forum for people to have conversations about the iPad. The world doesn't revolve around you, so stop judging the post based on its importance to you.

Doesn't change the fact it's a pointless, mundane thread that need not have been started, hence the MR rules that exist....it could have been added to any one of the hundreds of "wi-fi or 3G" threads that exist.

All I know is that there have been a bunch of these threads with people talking themselves out of the 3G iPad. Not sure about this OP but many others because of the wait time have given in LOL.
