Cancelling AT&T 3G

I canceled AT&T data on my iPad 3G and have decided to just use wifi. The notice on the screen said they will keep my account active for 60 days and would cancel the account after that.

If I decided to reactivate 3G after the 60 days, would I need a new SIM card?

You "data Access" is cancel, your SIM is always active.
