We recently upgraded to Mountain Lion on our iMac and the new install will not recognize the most recent Time Machine backups on our Time Capsule.
We have found this solution via searching here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19125399#19125399
I am wanting to start the troubleshoot, but when we plug in the Time Capsule it says, "You haven't selected a location for Time Machine backups. To select a location for backups, set up Time Machine."
My fear is that it will delete the backups when I go through set up. I have been unable to find any Google combo that tells me more about this and my only options are Cancel and Set Up. I am fearful to hit Set Up just in case it fires right up and starts deleting old backups.
Any thoughts?
