I bought my MacBook used about 3 years ago from a friend of the family's son. It came with everything installed, the only problem was I couldn't access the iDisk. I never had a reason to use it, so I left it the way it was. I'm on my winter break now for school and have decided to mess with it and see if I could get it in use.

At first, I was receiving an error about how my username and password did not match up, or something like that.

After some looking around I went to MobileMe and erased any sort of username and password there. Now, I get a message telling me I have to log in. I get a pop up box saying "WebDAV File System Authentication" and then it gives me two fields to input my name and password.

Problem is, I don't have these. Is there a way to bypass this or register with a new username/ password?

I've got a Mac OS X 10.5.8

Any help would be great, thank you!

No, iDisk was part of the paid MobileMe but not iCloud. Paid-up MobileMe subscribers retain access til June but you can't sign up for it now.
