Hey all,

Just got my iPhone 12 mini today, and transferred everything from my iPhone SE to set it up. I use the BofA app for my mobile banking, and the app loads fine, but for some reason when I tap on the Transfers/Zelle icon at the bottom of the screen to go to that section of the app, I get a spinning wheel before the app crashes and it sends me back to my home screen.

I'm on iOS 14.2, and that works fine on my SE that's also on 14.2. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, offloading and reloading the app, and restarting my phone - all to no avail. I really need this function on my phone, does anyone know what might be going on and how to fix it?

Interesting. I guess I'm glad to hear it's not my phone or something that went wonky with my data transfer, at least.

I already left feedback through an app store review, and I'm about to leave feedback through the app as well.

e: For feedback regarding their mobile banking, they tell you to write them a letter (lol) or give them a call. Their phone number for Mobile Banking support is (800) 432-1000, if you want to let them know you're having trouble too.

I have been having a similar problem with my bank since October after I upgraded to 12 from an 8. Mobile banking doesn't work unless I am in a town. I live in the country. The bank has denied any problems with the app. Apparently its either me, the phone or the poor signal. Only way I can transfer $ is via their website. Have downloaded the app a few times but still errors.

Bank of America fixed their app shortly after I made this thread. If you’re working with a smaller or regional bank it might be more difficult for them to assess what’s going on. Are you just getting an error when trying to transfer, or does the app crash and quit?
