Hi all,
I’ve got this little bug with the ‘sfr.fr’ entry, which cannot be deleted.

When I delete it, it pops up again.
Any suggestions how to get rid of it?

Cheers! Loki

I had that happen in an earlier iOS 11 version. Try restarting the device. I don’t remember now but either that worked or I gave up and a software update fixed this. But I saw this several times.

Thanks, papbot, for your suggestion.

I’m running iOS 11.2.1 now. Unfortunately neither this update nor device restart solved this little bug.

I’ve just figured out a solution:

1 - turned off iCloud sync for keychain, and chose delete all password.
2 - the re-appearing entry was still in the list, and still couldn’t delete it.
3 - iPhone backup to iTunes.
4 - ‘Reset All Settings’ on iPhone.
5 - restored backup from iTunes.

Cheers!

[doublepost=1514035785][/doublepost]That’s tedious but glad it worked. It didn’t occur to me at the time but when you mentioned a reset I remembered that in the past doing a reset of network settings I wound up having to log back into all services on my device. It even knocked my Mac off my home WiFi network because all passwords were cleared. All your passwords propagate through iCloud so wiping them on one device will affect other devices as well.

If this occurs again, hopefully never, try just resetting network settings on the device. That alone may be enough without signing out of iCloud and without going through a restore.

Yes, the most work was entering all my passwords again. Next time I try first resetting network settings.

A benefit from going through backup-fullReset-restore is that the GUI feels much faster now :)
