Hi all. I've searched here and on google for an answer, but am coming up short. I'm trying to clean up storage on my phone which includes music. Somehow my library got all wonky over the years and there are duplicates/triplicates of the same song on my phone (not in iTunes on my computer). I do not use Apple Music or store music in iCloud, only on my Mac's HD which is then synced to my phone.
I started by doing the obvious: unsync music when the phone is syncing with my computer. That got rid of most of it, but when going into phone storage, there is still 17GB worth of music on the device and there are a number of artists/songs in the music app.
Next step was to delete music via the storage portion of Settings which specifically states it will delete the app and all related data. Unfortunately, when I go back into the App Store and re-download the Music app, all the same music stays on the app! I've done this multiple times and restarted my device to no avail.
So what next? It would take forever to go through each song individually to delete them. Open to suggestions.
