I literally have Days worth of music stored in my iPad Pro, 11 Inch version.
I'm talking about 9,300+ Pieces of music and 25.5 Days* of continuous music. I plug my iPad into the car and listen to commercial free music while driving. Same thing while at work. If things get dull I get to listen to a few minutes or a few hours, depending.
Yes, I also listen to music on my iMac at home.
While much of my music files are AIFF-C from CD's, most of it is from Youtube.com downloaded to MP3. files. As I can I buy CD's to replace the MP3 files. That plus many Youtube .MP3 files often have several seconds to nearly a minute of blank time or have junk added onto the end.
I recently heard a song and found that there was nearly 30 seconds of empty space. A few seconds at the start or end is OK, several seconds and I try to find a replacement. That's usually easy enough. iMac time. I find a replacement, download New Music and delete the Old music while connected to the iPad.
That's what happened this time. 30+ seconds and where's the Next music? Noted title title and searched when I got home from work. Found it! Download and converted. Download to iPad and why won't the Old Song Delete? I try deleting Directly from the iPad in the Usual manner and I get This Song Is Not Currently Available In Your Country.
No (Politician you hate) Sherlock! I'm trying to delete it!
NOTHING I do deletes the old file. I even completely deleted ALL the music files, the Old song is still there. While Regular pieces of music have Solid Black titles, the (Politician) is there grey, the color of files coming in.
I just uploaded the latest OS, too. (Politician) is still there. I deleted everything (copies of music in multiple locations), installed the latest iPad OS and (politician) is still there.
Short of Completely deleting the Entire System (which I had to do once) and rebooting, What can I do to get rid of that One Song?
* And counting. It's a rare week when more music isn't added.
