Cannot Download Songs for Offline Use

Hi.

I'm running the latest version of OS X and iTunes and I cannot download music for offline use. When I click on the cloud icon, they are being added to the "Downloads" section but are immediately being stopped. Any ideas?

EDIT: Hm, it's working now. I did just authorise my Mac but surely that shouldn't make a difference?

Well, if this is for Apple music or something requiring DRM to work, authorising is necessary.
