I've been trying to get snes4iphone and the NES emulator to work by following some tutorials online, but I cannot seem to download iShare or the NES emulator. I managed to install snes4iphone on my iphone, so is there any other manual way to install ROMs onto the iphone via a Mac? If anyone knows how, a detailed step-by-step guide would be much appreciated. :D

Yea it took me a little while to get this to work. What I did was installed, openssh and AFPd from installer app. Then in finder on your mac you should see iphone, username is: root password: is alpine.

Then put the roms in: /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/SNES/

Now using terminal login to the ssh of iphone type: ssh root@iphoneipaddress.
You can find your iphone ip in wifi settings on the iphone itself. type password in again this will be: alpine

Then type: chown -hR mobile /var/mobile

ROMs should now work.

I dont know if the OP is the same as me, but I got the emulator installed but have no idea how to install the ROMs... Even with your directions, I get lost at a certain point and have no idea what to do because I've just started with all this jailbreaking stuff...

Also cannot find iPhone in Finder

you have to downloads the BSD subsystem from insaller before you install openSSH and AFPd. Still haven't gottten it to work yet because my computer isn't recognizing my iPhone... I think its my wire that's messed up because it wasn't being detected before I started this whole process. I'll post when I get it to work.

the iphone isn't coming up in finder. which AFPd should i have downloaded? There is an AFP and an AFPd creaded by iClarify, and I downloaded the other AFPd by James O'Brien because it didn't give me the red install button.
