For a few days I have been unable to update Outlook on my iPad Pro 9.7".
It seems to download fine (I.e. The download circle completes) but then it comes out with a pop up saying the app cannot be downloaded at this time.
Thinking that my current installation might have gotten corrupted, I thought I'd try to uninstall it and then re-install Outlook from scratch.
Bad mistake as I still cannot install Outlook and I am getting the same error message.
Anyone else experiencyng the same?
Any suggestion?

Today I found out that Outlook is not fully uninstalled. No matter what I do, when I reboot an empty icon appears, called Outlook-iOS. Short of restoring to factory setting, does anybody have any suggestions for fully uninstalling Outlook?

EDIT: i tried to uninstall it using iTunes and it didn't work

Just in case someone else runs into the same problem, this is how I resolved it.
I didn't have any recent backup, so i made a backup with iTunes, tethered, and then immediately restored my iPad using the backup I had just made. This forced the re-install of iOS and then I was able to re-install Outlook without problems.
