Cannot launch iCloud Numbers

My wife and I used to rely on ICN for scoring our lockdown Scrabble-games. Not any more, though. When I try to launch it now, I am met by what is shown in the attachment, and can find no way of closing it, and getting into ICN proper.

There's a scroll bar on the righthand side of that "What's new" dialog box. I'm sure you'll see the option to close if if you just scroll down.

Oh, thank you, and my apology if you feel that I have wasted your time. I think that I need new spectacles !
