Cannot Load Cd's!!!

well, just got my new C2MBP today - all excited about it, until I realized that it is pretty impossible for me to load ANY cds at all!

I put the CD in the drive - it makes all the usual noises - but instead of taking the cd in - it pushes it out again. Every single time.

Anyone know of this problem?? I really cant stand if I have to swap it already - just waited two weeks for it!!

you have to push the cd at least 3/4 in for the drive to take it, did you?

Yes, I put the cd all the way in. No problem. Then the noises starts and the drives pushes it back out again. It seems like a mechanical issues, I just dont know what!?!

i suppose you tried with different cd's? time to call apple i'm afraid.

yeah I know - dammit! - well, I had it for 2.5 happy hours! Tomorrow I'll stop by the appleshop, and wave goodbye as they take my baby away....
