Cannot Load Gmail (NOT Apple Mail Sych issue)

After installing Yosemite I am unable to get GMail to load. This is true across all browsers.
Chrome: Either no connection or it will pull up messages and then not load individual messages.
Safari: No connection error message
Firefox: Never get past the log in screen

I do not use Apple Mail at all. It is not connected to my google account. No problem on my MBP (10.9.5) or iPad (iOS8).

Other Google pages are also very slow on Chrome.

All browsers are the latest update.

All help very much appreciated as I run my work emails through GMail.

Update: I'm trying to post questions in the Google Product Forums. I am having similar problems getting those pages to load.

Why would Google and Yosemite not play together nicely?

Why would Google and Yosemite not play together nicely?

I can access gmail.com on Safari under Yosemite no problem. Do you maybe have some sort of security utility or adblocker that is stopping you?
