When I try to log in, I get this error:

"We're sorry. Your account could not be created due to system issues.
Please contact Apple Support Communities with the information below to create your account."

It will not work on Firefox, Safari or Windows Vista using Firefox.
I have researched this, but most posts date back to 2009.
I have deleted all cookies, still nothing.
I do not have any special characters in my name.

I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue or has a suggestion?

Thank you!

Thank you for responding Hugh. My Apple Id will work on itunes and the Apple store, but not on the forums there, which is what is confusing me.

I have seen this question asked on here (possible solutions posted did not work for me) and is why I posted it too. I hope I did not offend anyone by doing so.

That's strange that it doesn't work with Discussions, but will with every thing else. Maybe create a new Apple ID to ask in the message board who you might need to e-mail to get your main Apple ID ironed out.

Same problem

Hi,

I am having the same problem as dandilionadrift. Been a member of communities for years. Have tried all sorts of remedies. Nothing fixes the problem. No help from apple. Pretty frustrating.
