Cannot make calls HELP !

I just jailbroke my iPhone 3g today and everything works fine. I put a new theme and everything. But the only thing I'm not able to do is make calls. I can receive calls but cannot make any. And whenever i hit the phone button on the home screen it doesn't even open. I don't know whats wrong. HELP PLEASE! it will be greatly appreciated!

you might have install erica utility in installer. uninstall it

nope i did not install that. i just checked on cydia.

try a hard reset, if that doesn't work do a restore and try jailbreaking again.

a hard reset? you mean pressing the power and home button? i did that many times already and i'm stuck !

if i do restore my iphone and jailbreak it again, do i restore it to the backup of my iphone originally?
