Cannot make or recive calls (3g, tmobile, 3.1.2 firmware)

I jailbroke iphone and unlocked. Installed Ultrasn0w. It connects to itunes, wifi works, cydia, etc...

How do I get my tmobile service back? No phone or data service.

Please advise.

I don't think Ultrasnow works on 3.1.2 unless you kept the old baseband. What baseband are you at? If you're at 5.11.7, you should use blackra1n & blacksn0w.

IIRC you don't need to install ultrasn0w for an iphone 3G........

It's the 3Gs that has the baseband problem that' why it needs Ultrasn0w. The pwnage or blackra1n tool comes with unlock for 2g and 3g modes...I think

This is right. Restore 3.1.2, turn off 3G, run BlackRa1n, run BlackSn0w. Done.
