For some reason, I cannot open iTunes in Sierra (PB). Is there any reason for this? Everything is up to date, and there are no error warnings, just a click on the icon in the dock (or in the Applications folder) and nothing happens.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

UPDATE: This issue was resolved by updating iTunes. I thought it was up to date as I have auto-update turned on, and there were no icons on the App Store icon, but I opened it and turns out there was an update...

Same problem here. What did you 'open' and where to resolve the issue? I'm guessing by what you wrote it was the app store? I get no updates available at the app store.

I was on iTunes 12.4, but updated to 12.5, via the App Store. That's all I know to tell you, sorry man

Today (8/1) I almost did a complete reinstall, but then something went awry and it's like I got updated instead. Anyway, iTunes now works, and the Tygrz is a happy camper :)

Hooray! Congratulations the Tygrz
