Hi, I have been trying to restore my SSD with a clean time machine backup stored in my home NAS and everything goes fine until the last step when I select the time machine image to be restored (I only have one). The "continue" button is greyed out for some reason and I cannot continue the process.

Any help will be welcomed. 🙂

Have you tried verifying the backup (holding down the option key while selecting TM on the menu bar)?

You have to provide the full SMB path when you boot and start the restore - such as smb://nas.local/TimeMachine/

What NAS? Have you tried to manually mount the image first?
Its the new Asustor Nimbustor 2 and as I said earlier I was trying to restore the full SSD not just my data as I formatted the drive.

Anyway I solved the problem just waiting and after maybe 10 mins or so the continue button became available so my guess is that maybe Mac OS was decrypting the time machine image or something like that.
