Cannot run Baldurs Gate

I love this game and have decided to play through it again, I've ran it on two different PCs so I know that it works fine, now that I've got Windows 7 running on my iMac I decided to give it another play through, it worked fine until I installed the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion and tried to play it, resulting in this error;

'This game can only be played in the United States and Canada'
(or something along those lines)

What is going on, I have never had this problem before and the game has worked perfectly fine on Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows XP.

Does anyone know what is up?

Did Baldur's Gate ship on a dual-format CD?? You might be able to play it on the Mac OS side, although it might be too old and need a PowerPC based Mac.

probably a bug in the game...

I play it, but not by running Windows, so no issues similar. You might try a better solution than just running Windows.
