Cannot save photos in photoshop taken by iPhone

I use photoshop 7 (out of date but I'm used to it and love it). But for some reason I have a hard time saving photos that were taken with an iPhone. First, upon opening them I get a color profile error and I have to "discard color profile". Then when I have finished editing and hit save I get a "program error" and have to use "save for web" instead. Drives me crazy. I can process 100 pics of my own in 5 minutes but the 12 I get from my sister in law's iphone take 20 minutes.

Thanks for any ideas. Not that big a deal but I just bought my daughter and iphone XR and she'll be sending a lot over the years I'm sure!

I have not run into that issue personally but I wonder if your SIL has her phone set to HEIC rather than jpeg format. PS7 wouldn't be able to support that file format.

I had similar issues until I noticed that the images from my phone were not jpg, so yeah I think that's sound advise.
