Yesterday someone sent me and 100 other people a message. I responded to that message to the all 100 and received an error message:

error 4.0.0 exceed 400 recipients in the last 24 hours.

Explanation: mail could not be sent, account name .mac

18 hours later it still won't let me send mail. Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm using Entourage and SBC

Yep sounds like your SMTP provider is trying to prevent spamming...Guess you will have to wait for the time to go by, or contact them and explain your situation.

Not sure if you are using .Mac to send emails, but if you are, remember your ISP will probably have an SMTP server you can use to send mail.

Just contacted SBC and they say it's not them. I just sent an email to the .Mac support and asked them to reset

.Mac has not replied and I'm into my third day of not being able to send emails. Yes, they has anti-spam controls. They refuse to answer my requests to reset my account. I'm not able to talk to anyone in person as .Mac does not have phone support. This is outrageous. Buying a Mac was the biggest mistake I have made. If I went through the litany of problems I have had in the last 2 months you would be amazed.
