Cannot sync I phone 4 bluetooth w/ Mercedes benz bluetooth phone system

Benz phone is in discover mode as is iphone, but neither seems to recognize each other. Is there something I'm doing wrong. Worked fine with previous motorola phone.

Could be a problem with being an older model. I have a friend with a 2011 C63 AMG (drool) and I think his works fine with it. I know they've overhauled the COMAND system a couple of times since 2003

Definitely cross-post this to a Mercedes enthusiast board. There will be a lot more iPhone users with Mercedes that can help you there than here.
