I just updated my iPhone 8 with the latest developer beta today. Somehow I cannot power off my iPhone 8 anymore. If I turn it off, it keeps turning on right away. Does anybody have this issue? I don't think this happened before.

I was planning to replace the battery today, and I wanted to power it off before taking it apart. Don't know what to do. :(

Thanks!

Well, all I can think of is to turn up the screen brightness, play a high-res video on YouTube or something and let the battery run down until it shuts itself off so you can replace the battery.

This happened to me on my 8+. Battery had been replaced within a year and a half ago. Started restarting near the end of beta 3 before 4 came out. Still happened with ios 15 beta 4. Rolled back to ios 14 which was a nightmare in itself and the problem went away (so far).
