So I got my Mac Studio last night and set it up set up what I could and bought a whole bunch of USB adapters.

I'm using a Canon 80D with the EOS webcam utility for livestreaming. It's connected to one of the USB A ports on the back of the Studio.

The usual EOS Utility recognises the camera, as does Streamlabs OBS, but none of the web browsers see the camera. Because they're not asking for permission to use the camera, I can't allow them in the privacy control panel.

Has anyone heard of this?

If the webcam utility plugin is x86_64 it can't be loaded on a native arm app. Canon should update its plugin to use the new API in macOS 12.3.

Ah, okay. I guess I'm using my older machine for livestreaming for the next while, then. Thanks for the info.
