When I plug in my Canon 450D via USB to my MacBook and turn the camera on, EOS Utility used to start automatically and present the initial menu screen which allows the downloading of pictures. However, I have recently discovered that it no longer does this and I have to launch EOS Utility manually.

Can anyone help me set things up so that EOS Utility starts automatically when I plug my 450D in.

Thank you :)

Open Image Capture from your Applications folder, pull up the preferences and where it says When camera is connected, open: select from the list either CameraWindow or Other... (to select the EOS Utility).
