Canon LBP2900 not working (again) with Mojave

Hi all!

There have been patches and fixes in the past to install and use Canon LBP2900 printer till High Sierra. But ever since the launch of Mojave, all those workarounds are no longer working. I have attached the screenshots of the error that I am getting when I try to install it.

Can someone please PLEASE post a workaround or an updated patch to make it work?
