Canon printer

I have a canon ip4200 that i use with my win machine, i have an imac ordered. My question about the printer is: I can print cd with it, and i don't want to loose this. Can anyone that has this printer or another canon that prints cd and made the move from pc to mac give me any advice. Is it possible to have it work with both units?

I have a Canon MP610 and you can print discs in OSX and Windows with no problems.
