Whenever I import my Canon RAW files (.CR2) they always come in as big black images. I have tried clicking "Reprocess RAW", but it never does. Is there any way to get them to process? I would really appreciate the help.
OK, what OS (exact version) and what version of iPhoto: the camera support depends on those.
OK my OS is 10.5.6 (I will probably update to 10.5.7 soon).
And my version of iPhoto is 8.0.2. And I have all the Mac RAW updates.
Hmm, sounds like it should work.
You would think it would. But for some reason it doesn't. Should I try another program? Preferably a free one.
Can you see the images when looking through the folder in Cover Flow mode?
iPhoto still wont read the RAW files from my EOS300D. So it was a relief hen cover flow mode started to show them.

Yes. If your camera is supported in one of Apple's Camera RAW Compatibility Updates.I only use aperture so I don't know the answer to this question, but does iphoto support raw photos to begin with?
