Anyways I thought canon dslrs came with free tethering software.. I did a quick google search and came up with this: http://www.jibble.org/canon-tethered-shooting/

Click to expand... The version of Image Capture that ships with Leopard does this. It is rather primitive as the only control is the shutter release, but it may be enough for you. Canon's included software does this too. Or at least I thought it did.

O OreoCookie macrumors 68030 Apr 14, 2001 2,727 90 Sendai, Japan Jun 10, 2008 #5 Aperture 2 might do that, too, with your camera. Edit: I haven't tried tethered shooting with Leopard's Image Capture, but I've tried it with Tiger's Image Capture, although with a P&S.
