Can't access calendar while on iPhone 5s

I have an iPhone 5s, using iOS 9.0.1.

While using phone,I can't access my calendar. This is really a PITA when trying to set an appt.

Anyone else having this "feature"?

Any suggestions?

Why do you mean by not being able to access it? It doesn't launch when you try it or crashes?

Try holding power and home button until apple logo appears then let go and let it restart. Then try again.
