Sonoma 14.2.1. I've enabled Sharing and added Public folder. I've enabled Guest sharing also in Users. However, can't access this share under guest (under user is OK). How to fix?

Guest account can only access explicitly shared folders, not share for root of host. Only admin account can access root share.

Not sure what do you mean? This command shows all shared folders, what is "root share"? Ok, forget about `smbutil view`, let's take another Mac. I cannot connect from another Mac to this one with shared Public folder under Guest.

% smbutil view -g //localhost/Public
smbutil: share name doesn't exist: No such file or directory

Can you share a non-guest public folder from one Mac with another one? There it begins.
