Is this right, I cannot access the online itunes store unless my PC is on? I thought having my appletv plugged into the router would be enough?

Can't access the itunes store without the pc being on

You should be able to see the store without your computer on. The router should be enough (all it needs is an internet connection). Are you signed onto the network via AppleTV?
Hi Freestate, yeah that's what I thought. I will try resetting the router and see if that helps, I was sure you didn't need a computer on. I will post back the results.
Make sure to select the US iTunes store in the preferences - I didn't realize you were not in the US - Im not sure what shows up outside of the US if you have selected your local countries store...
well it seems that my appleTV is working when the ethernet is unplugged and it is setup wirelessly, seems to have problems plugged in to the router
