You should be able to see the store without your computer on. The router should be enough (all it needs is an internet connection). Are you signed onto the network via AppleTV?

Make sure to select the US iTunes store in the preferences - I didn't realize you were not in the US - Im not sure what shows up outside of the US if you have selected your local countries store...
