Title says it all

Even after unlocking the lock using my password, I cannot add apps in 2 occasions.

First, (first image as well) the +/- button in "Files and Folders" is greyed out.
Second, (second image), in "Full Disk Access", the +/- is NOT greyed out however, when I select an app, it does not gets added into the list.

Crazy things...

PS I am trying to add Matlab2019. I have 2 versions. 2021 is already added.

Apps will request Files and Folders access if needed and you'll be prompted to accept or deny. Once that happens, those apps will appear in that list. You can't add them manually.

What is the app you're trying to add to Full Disk Access and why do you need it there?

Your screenshots are confusing. It shows that it's already been added. Edited: I see, it's an earlier version. I wonder if perhaps it's not compatible with the current macOS.

I think you may need to contact MatLab's support to ask for help with this. It's not that you can't add apps (like your title suggests); it's that you can't add a specific version of an app for which the later version has been added.
