I can't add contacts after updating. The plus button is not there. How do I go about doing this?

through the phone or contacts app? Do you have them saved to you computer?

do you have them saved through iTunes where you can sync them to your iPhone?

Don't know how to know if they are backed up on itunes. They are backed up thru Verizon but there should be a way to add a contact right thru the app. Pretty basic I would think, but it's just not happening.

I have a friend with the same issue. No plus sign at the top of All Contacts to add anyone and no button to 'Edit' contacts when they pull someone up.

The only way to add someone is to do it from the Recent log. The only way to edit someone is to put them in Favorites.

The options are plain as day on my phone, but not on theirs. Neither of us have anything set up on the Cloud.

Weird...

any answers

my junior's have an iPod 64 touch each, i set up the FaceTime so they can ring mummy when she's outta town.

after iOS5

one iPod can add and edit contacts, the other can't
i thought maybe it was a restriction, nup:mad:
tried a restore, nup.....

plain as day, one has the plus symbol, the other has it there for a mili second then gone and as above the only way to edit is to make a number a favourite then enter the contact from there via the blue arrow.....

i could really do with an answer here, coz the five year old can FaceTime mummy to her iPhone but the 3.5 year can only FaceTime mummy to her ipad
i know the drama hey, but seriously try to reason with a three year old why he doesn't have what his brother has.............
