Can't Add Reminders in Reminders App????

Hi

How the hell do you add reminders in the reminders app?
I've checked online and it just says "press the + button" but my app doesn't have this anywhere!

Any ideas?

Slide your finger left and right. There's Tasks and Reminders. You'll see the +.
 
Mine didn't by default have any lists other than "Completed" which you can't add things to.

Try creating a new list.

Sliding my finger left just takes me to the Completed page and sliding it right takes me to the next day and beyond
 
There are no buttons - that's my point!
Unless I'm being completely stupid....I'll post some pictures...

Nothing :(

It hasn a Done button and then if I press into the search and then press cancel, the Edit button appears.

Pressing it does nothing except bring up the Done button again....there's obviously something amiss which may be fixed with a reset sadly

Dude, press the Edit button, then tap on the list where it says "Create new list...". You can then type the name, tap Done (which will take you back to your Lists) then tap Done again and you will be able to swipe between your individual lists or go to date view.

I'll admit, its not the simplest app, but still very useful.
 
"Create New List" doesn't appear. When my Edit button is there (sometimes is, sometimes isnt) I press it and nothing changes except I have a Done button.

It's clearly fooked for me...will have to wait for iPhone 4S instead

I think you're just getting a bit lost navigating your way around the Reminders app to be honest. Happened to me as well until I figured it out.

I had this issue too. Go to Settings, click iCloud and turn on Reminders. Now you'll have a plus button in the application.

Thank you, this has solved the problem.

Why, though, does iCloud need turning on for this to work????
