Ok so I plug my iphone 7 into my PC, Itunes opens.

I click on my iphone icon and back up options appear.

I select the cloud (Opposed to "This computer").

Click "Back up now".

It then says "Backing up now" on the top with a progress bar.

Then that's done but I don't get any confirmation, the progress bar on top just disappears.

So i log into Icloud.com and only my contacts are backed up. No photos or notes which I have tons of each.

Thxs

Even though you’ve set iTunes to tell your phone to do an iCloud backup, it’s actually backing up to the computer when you click “Back up now.”
iCloud Backup isn’t the process to sync your notes in iCloud. Backup is just used to restore your device after it’s been reset or replaced.
Look in the phone’s Settings app and under the iCloud section, be sure that you have Notes and Photos turned on in there.
