6S Plus, I can't backup over wifi. Tried multiple networks, resets, just sits on calculating backup time then says "Last backup could not be completed. Last Backup:Never" Any other things to try before wiping and starting over?

turn off iphoto cloud library

i was having problems. my initial backup was 10 gigs , because it was backing up the camera roll. i was also uploading my camera roll to iCloud at the same time, and i think that was causing me issues. as soon as all the photos were put on iCloud, the backups are much better

This is an issue Apple is aware of. Take a look at Apple Support Forums. I've had the same problem on my iPhone 6 since early October. I talked to AppleCare. They said "engineering is working on it" and there should be a fix soon. Maybe in the next update to iOS. I was hoping that the update to iOS 9.1 would fix it but no luck. In the meantime, you can always backup to your computer using iTunes.
