As the title states, iPhone 5 6.1.2 is stuck at the Apple logo. Holding the Volume Up button does nothing. I'd hate to DFU and loose my jailbreak.

Do I have any options??

I'm sure the Tapatalk comment was a joke, I just don't get it

Not really sure how it happened. I've been doing a few tweaks here and there to get MyLocation to work properly (ie - Changing the Weather on my lockscreen and animated home page when I go to a different city without having to respring). It was working and then stopped after I installed a few tweaks so I thought I'd remove MyLocation and then install it again. Well, I removed MyLocation, rebooted to clean whatever was left over out, and it got stuck at the Apple Logo.

same thing happened to me over the weekend, and I was just changing an icon, now I'm stuck on 6.1.3, the world's most archaic mobile OS:(

Not sure if this helps me or not but I was just about to DFU when I noticed in iFunBox I can get to the file system. Anyone have any ideas if I can get somewhere this way??

If I were you, I would try manually removing the last tweaks/apps I installed and check if that would do.

You have nothing else to lose now.

Yeah. That's what I've been doing with no luck yet. I'm giving it another shot this morning and then restoring if I can't get it going. Just so I know I'm removing the tweaks correctly, I am just deleting them from the "User Applications" or "System Applications" inside of iFunBox, right? Do I need to clean up anything from each tweak inside of the "Raw File System"?

So I think I may be in luck. I checked my wife's phone (same model and color) and she is running 6.1. I'm so glad she doesn't care about updates. So my next question is, is there many differences between 6.1 and 6.1.2?? I saw the wiki page and I don't see many differences. I don't care about the Exchange calendar bug or the background audio (I would install Music Control Pro anyways).

One thing that does concern me is with the Exchange calendar bug and the increased network activity and reduced battery life. Anyone know anything more about that?

so where are we at?

you wont miss 6.1.2 if you don't use exchange calendar. i think the increased network activity you mention is directly linked to using exchange calendar which goes into a loop.

6.1.2 basically fixes that and an exploit to the phone's password lock.

the most significant update since 6.1 is 6.1.1 which apparently solves 3G data connection problems but that only affects iphone 4S.

Yeah, I guess my post contradicted itself a bit. I use Exchange only for my Gmail accounts (which I do use the Calendar that syncs with my work Outlook's calendar). I did notice the 3G network bug but it won't affect me so I paid it no mind.

So should I be concerned? I guess I can always change my Gmail accounts to use the Gmail setup, instead of Exchange if I notice any battery drain and go from there...

I just stumbled upon this whilst having a similar issue with my iPhone 4S 6.0.1. Obviously I didn't want to update and so I'v been trying everything. I tried deleting apps like you said but to no avail either.
However, I navigated to Library > MobileSubstrate and then some other folder in there. in there I deleted everything except for the safe mode files and I was finally able to boot up into safe mode whilst holding the + button! My phones a total mess now and I'm having to carefully reinstall things to bring it back to life but its a start!

Edit: for the record, the only thing I could do to get my tweaks working again was to uninstall mobile substrate and hence every single thing that relys on it. Then after slowly reinstalling everything all was well!
