So I wanted to go ahead and burn an album I have to a CD (don't ask why).

I went ahead and made my playlist, and clicked on "Burn Disc" in the bottom right. This window comes up:

Any ideas? I'm wondering why this isn't working...

Mac OS X 10.6.3
iTunes 9.1

I'll try it in Windows in a little bit.

Does the SuperDrive work with Burn or the Finder and its Burn folders or Disk Utility?
Does it show up in System Profiler > Serial ATA or Disc Burning?

Is the Mac in your sig the Mac with the problems?

How did u solve it

ok so i was wondering what you did to solve it. i see u got it working again but unsure how. was it just a reboot?

Macs are cool that way.

It's always the simplest of fixes.

A friend had an old iMac that the cd/dvd drive had quit on him. He bought an external drive and used it for several months before he told me about his problem. I asked him if he had tried doing a permissions repair. What's that, he said. He did it and it fixed his internal drive.
