can't burn DVD-rw in windows xp

I just bought a macbook pro and installed bootcamp and Windows XP. I tried to back up some files to a DVD-rw in Windows using Nero 6 and it won't do it. Just errors.

Just wondering if it can be done at all or is it from minimal compatibility since it's a macbook pro trying to run windows??
